The PhilHealth GAMOT Program is an outpatient medicines benefit that provides members and their dependents with free essential drugs for common and chronic conditions, helping reduce out-of-pocket healthcare costs and improve treatment adherence.

- Includes around 75 essential medications for illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, asthma, infections, and heart conditions
- Available to both members and dependents, each with their own benefit limit
- Medicines are provided through accredited pharmacies and health facilities nationwide
- Focuses on outpatient and maintenance treatment to prevent complications
How It Works:
Members must be registered with a PhilHealth YAKAP-accredited primary care provider. A doctor conducts consultation and issues a prescription for covered medicines.
Medicines can be claimed at accredited GAMOT pharmacies or facilities. The cost of medicines is directly covered by PhilHealth (no or minimal payment).
